BioThe name bthepilot is shortened from Bruce the pilot, created by my friend Howard now the editor of Black Gate. I was setting in the Campus dinning room having lunch and studying when he walked up and noticed a doodle on my Flight Instructor Handbook and so was born the character Bruce the pilot.
I love flying, I just haven't done it for more than fifteen years. At first it was the inverse relationship of money and time. When I had one I didn't have the other, now I'm so rusty it'll take major amounts of both to get me back into the air.
My New Years resolution for several years running has been if I can drop x amount of pounds I'll treat myself. X hasn't changed much unfortunately.
I spent 1998-2007 as a self employed computer dude, but I had a negative reaction to doing papaerwork, so these days I'm an engineer for WTWO-TV in Terre Haute, IN.
